The resort
The resort sits 150 metres from the wellness centre on the same green hillside above Kata. Every room has been renovated, every room has a balcony, and almost every balcony looks out over the beach with the Big Buddha in the distance.
Rooms are quiet, uncluttered and practical: a kitchenette, a rain shower, air conditioning and a fan, smart TV, minibar, kettle and room service when you want it. There is a swimming pool, and the pool-access rooms step straight into it from the terrace.
The rooms
From 28 to 40 square metres. Sea-view rooms look over Kata from a balcony; pool-access rooms open straight onto the water. Same rooms, different mornings.
King bed, separate bathroom and kitchenette, balcony with ocean view or pool access. Spectacular Kata Beach and partial Big Buddha views.

The same room as the Standard Sea View, on the pool level: step off your terrace straight into the water. The easiest room in the hotel for anyone who swims every morning.

Inside
A kitchenette in every room, a walk-in rain shower, a wardrobe with robes and a safe. Small things, but they are what makes a two-week stay feel like living rather than visiting.
Hotel facilities
No membership, no supplement, no booking sheet to fight over. Everything below comes with your rate, for the whole of your stay.
Pool-access rooms open straight onto it, and the terrace above looks out over Kata and the Andaman Sea. Towels provided, no charge.
Herbal sauna and a cold plunge beside it. Used well, the two together are the best hour of the day — and they cost you nothing.
Free weights, machines and cardio, open through the day, 150 metres from your room at the wellness centre.
Eating here
The restaurant at the wellness centre serves through the day, with one of the better sunset views on this side of the island, and a juice bar alongside it. Open to hotel guests and to visitors, charged separately from your room.
Room service is available, and every room has a kitchenette if you would rather cook.
